About Heathcliffs

Empowering Learning, Elevating Futures

Heathcliffs was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and create a positive future, regardless of where they start in life.

Led by Giuditta Meneghetti, a Doctoral Researcher and Pathways & Potential Specialist, Heathcliffs supports individuals, communities and organisations through education, enterprise, advocacy and personal development.

With more than 25 years of experience across further and higher education, prison education, employability, enterprise, community learning and rehabilitation, Giuditta has dedicated her career to helping people overcome barriers, navigate life's transitions and unlock their potential.

Her work spans a diverse range of settings, from supporting young adults furthest from the labour market, to working alongside people rebuilding their lives following involvement in the criminal justice system, to helping aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals create meaningful and sustainable careers.

In 2019, Giuditta was awarded the prestigious Enterprise Educator of the Year award by the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE) and SFEDI, recognising her innovative approach to enterprise education and her commitment to social impact.

This recognition reflected more than business success. It celebrated her ability to inspire learners to create enterprises that generated positive change within their communities. Many of the ventures she supported embedded social responsibility at their core, using business as a force for good and reinvesting profits to support vulnerable individuals and local causes.

Today, Giuditta continues to combine professional practice, research and advocacy to create opportunities for others. Her work is grounded in empathy, inclusion, building relationships and the belief that meaningful change happens when people are empowered to take ownership of their own journey.

Research and Areas of Interest

Giuditta is currently a Doctoral Researcher at Buckinghamshire New University, exploring the School-to-Prison Pipeline in the UK.

Her research focuses on the micro-events, disciplinary experiences and critical turning points that can influence young people's life trajectories, with the aim of identifying opportunities for earlier intervention, greater inclusion and more positive outcomes.

Alongside this work, she has a longstanding interest in environmental sustainability and the role that education, enterprise and community action can play in creating a more equitable and sustainable future.

At Heathcliffs, our mission remains the same: Empowering Learning, Elevating Futures through Opportunity, Education, Enterprise and Advocacy.
