Heathcliffs was born in 2016 after its founder, Giuditta Meneghetti, a lecturer and trainer in business studies, law and enterprise realised that she was not the only one struggling with pressures in the educational sector and which had resulted in stress related illnesses. Her way of managing her own declining mental health was to retrain in the field of stress management.
Her educational and training career spans over 20 years but in recent years she has become more involved in raising awareness of the importance of good mental health and the growing need to promote the removal of mental health stigma in educational establishments, as well as other workplaces. She is a Certified Practitioner of EFT, bibliotherapy, stress management, colour therapy and is a Reiki Master.

In 2019 Giuditta was awarded prestigious title of Enterprise Educator of the Year by the IOEE/SFEDI which was presented in the House of Lords for her work in supporting young entrepreneurs. Not only helping them to setting up and run their own businesses but by encouraging learners to develop a social conscience. Learners ran businesses and the profits were used to support vulnerable people in the community. https://isbe.org.uk/annual-awards-small-business-enterprise-and-skills-sector/
She remains passionate about her career in education having worked in schools, colleges, universities and welfare to work. Currently, she is a part time lecturer delivering SFEDI enterprise qualifications in a prison setting to support offenders develop business ideas and plans as an intervention for reducing re-offending. Giuditta loves nothing more than being in the classroom teaching and training but having noticed that poor mental health was contributing to learners not achieving their full potential and teachers where struggling to manage workloads this became something that Giuditta wanted to address.
The desire to remove the stigma of mental health in the work place and promote preventive measures is the foundation that Heathcliffs is built on. She is currently studying an MSc in Mental Health and Wellbeing in Education with a focus on enterprise education as means of promoting wellbeing and reducing offending and reoffending.
